Families,
In the
coming months our class is going to be participating in three field trips. Our
first field trip is going to be February
19th. We are going to take a
tour of the Moda Center as part of our Social Studies unit on Portland. The second and third trips will be announced
as soon as we learn of the dates. We will be taking a walking tour of downtown
Portland for our second field trip and our last field trip will be to see a
play!
Although two
of the trips are free of charge we will need to pay for transportation and
tickets to the play. As a result, each
third grade class is asking parents to send $15.00 to cover the cost. Please send a check made payable to
Laurelhurst School with your child as soon as possible.
